Shunt capacitor is mainly used to provide reactive power for power system, improve system power factor, adjust network voltage and reduce line loss
AC filter capacitor is mainly used to provide low impedance channel for higher harmonic current, reduce the harm of harmonic wave, provide reactive power and improve power quality.

1. Capacitance tolerance: The capacitance tolerance between differential voltage terminals, between arms in double Y structure and between arms in H-bridge structure is less than 1%. The tolerance of inter-phase capacitance and phase capacitance is not exceeding 0.5% and between 0~+5% respectively.
2. Voltage overload capacity: the capacitor is allowed to be continuously running at 1.1 times rated voltage. In this case , the peak voltage including all harmonic components should not exceed 1.2√2 UN.
3. Current overload capacity: Operation at the stable over-current with a RMS value of 1.3 times the rated current (In) is allowed. Over-current is allowed to reach 1.43 In for capacitors with the largest positive capacitance tolerance.
4. Ambient temperature: -40ºC~+55ºC.
