Product Description

Esi-800 Overhead Fault Indicator Wireless Setting Terminal PDA
Esi-800 Overhead Fault Indicator Wireless Setting Terminal PDA

ESI-800 is mainly used for address matching, parameter setting and function testing to overhead fault indicator ESI-308 and overhead fault indicator wireless communication terminal ESI-309.

In addition, ESI-800 can be used as a palm computer separately matching used with ESI-308 to monitor ESI-308 real-time data, fault information and so on.

C.2 Appearance

ESI-800 consists of a 7-line LCD screen and a set of functional keyboards (including numbers, letters and function keys) and shell. As shown in figure 2-1:

1)        LCD screen:It is used to display all information of fault indicator and communication terminal. The first action title bar displays the title name, and the rest lines show submenu items or setting values.

2)        Keyboard: A total of 21 keys, including up and down keys "", left and right keys "", Confirmation key" confirmation ", Cancel key "backspace ", switch key, red key and 10 alphanumeric multi-function keys.

3)        Switch key:This button is used to set up the opening and closing of the terminal power. Long press this key until the system is turned on or off.

4)        Confirmation key: confirm the menu contents into the next page or into the edit status or confirm the setting values.

5)        Cancel key:This button is used to cancel operation and return to the last menu item.

6)        Left and right key:These two buttons are used to switch between the left and right items of a double-row menu or to move the cursor left and right in edited states, as well as other functions on a particular page.

7)        Up and down keys:these are used to menu item selection switch.

8)        Backspace key: this button is used to delete characters in the edit state.

9)        Alphanumeric key: this key is used for character input in the edit state.

Note: In order to save battery power, ESI-800 automatically turns off the power after 3 minutes without operation.

Note: when ESI-800 is closed, the latest operation contents and values will be saved. This simplifies the operation of setting up a large number of fault indicators, avoiding adjusting setting values from the default values when each starting up.

Battery replacement: There is a battery box on the back of the ESI-800, which can be opened and replaced the battery by pushing down the back cover of the battery box. Pay attention to battery polarity when replacing batteries.

Note: the ESI-800 is powered by two 3.6V 14450 batteries.

C.3 Technical Parameter

1)        Working frequency: 433.00~491.00MHz   Modulation mode:....... FSK

2)        Frequency stability:    10PPM ......transmitting power.......................5Mw

3)        Receiving sensitivity.........…-114dBm...air baud rate...…20Kbps

4)        Signal transmission distance: >50m

C.4 Function Setting

1)        Parameter setting and operation of ESI-308 overhead fault indicator;

2)        Parameter setting and operation of ESI-309 overhead fault indicator communication terminal;

3)        Parameter setting and operation of ESI-800 overhead fault indicator wireless setting terminal;

C.4.1 Parameter Setting and Operation of ESI-308 Overhead Fault Indicator

1)        Parameter setting and operating between the ESI-308 overhead fault indicator and the ESI-309 communication terminal, the fault indicator and terminal are matched by setting the address;

2)        Parameter setting and function test of ESI-308 overhead fault indicator;

3)        There are six options on the sensor settings page: search sensor, select sensor, short circuit fault simulation, ground fault simulation, flip simulation and flip reset simulation. Users can enter the sensor selection page to wake up and connect the sensor, select the sensor and then set it.

4)        Search Sensors: On this page, you can see all the sensors searched by ESI-800, and the users can choose according to their needs. The surrounding sensors can also be researched. Waiting for the search time in the 80s, the page will display all the sensors that are searched.

5)        Functional test: short circuit fault simulation, ground fault simulation, flip simulation and flip reset simulation, users can enter the corresponding interface for simulation test;

C.4.2 Parameter Setting and Operation of ESI-309 Overhead Fault Indicator Communication Terminal

1)        The communication terminal setting includes 4 items: search terminal, select terminal, sensor address and sensor group numbers.

2)        Search terminal: on this page, you can see all the terminals searched by ESI-800, and users can choose according to their needs. The surrounding sensors can also be researched. Waiting for the search time in the 20s, the page will display all the sensors that are searched.

3)        Select terminal: This option is selected again for the previously searched terminal.

4)        2Sensor Address: This is used to modify the unique code matching the sensor and the terminal, which is set through 10 digital keys.

5)        Sensor Group numbers: Used to set how many sensors does the terminal match (1 group matches 3 sensors, 2 group matches 6...), set with the "+" and "-" key, up to 10 groups. How many sets of sensors are used to match the terminal (1 group matches 3 sensors, 2 groups 6...). Use the "+" and "-" keys to set, up to 10 groups.

C.4.3 Parameter setting and operation of ESI-800 overhead fault indicator wireless terminal

1)        Related settings of wireless settings terminal include 3 items settings: backlight, keypad tone, automatic shutdown delay.

2)        3.1 backlight: Turn on the backlight or turn off the backlight by default when starting up, which will not affect the current backlight status.

3)        3.2 keypad tone: Open or close the key prompt tone.

4)        3.3 automatic shutdown: Set the terminal timeout value when the terminal automatically shuts down for a long time without operation, in seconds.
