NOTES: | ||||
1 | The insulating raw material shall be commercial quality excellent. Porcelain insulators shall be manufactured by wet process. All exposed porcelain insulators surface must be covered with a hard glassy, smooth, shiny and impervious to moisture compression type, which allows, through the natural rain water washing, easily kept free of dust and dirt waste caused by environmental pollution. The total surface of the insulator, except the burn area, shall be glazed and free from imperfections. The porcelain used porosities not have to file; must be of high dielectric strength, high mechanical strength, chemically inert and high-melting. If the composition of the alternatives in isolation (polymer or polymer concrete) must attach all relevant technical, containing specifications, standards and the comparative benefits with the required material (porcelain), for proper analysis by the CNEL without this meaning explicit acceptance. The technical committee or delegate approved alternative process if exposed with appropriate supporting rationale. |
|||
2 | The fittings shall be forged steel and hot dip galvanized according to ASTM A153 norms for hardware. Compliance with the shape of the base Line Post Insulator shall be subject to the provisions of ANSI standard C29-7 1996 (rev 2002), and the bolts and nuts shall comply with the test design C29-1 ANSI standard under explained in section 8.3.3 of ANSI C29-7. |
|||
3 | The insulators in their normal use may be in an environment with different degrees of pollution, so each ED will considerations in the selection of insulators under atmospheric pollution. For the particular case of HD CNEL cycle work (heavy duty) is requested.
4 | Cada aislador tiene que estar marcado en forma legible e indeleble y durable en el tiempo con la información mínima
1- Logotipo o marca del fabricante; y
2- Año de fabricación del aislador.
5 | Certificates of conformity of product or compliance required herein must be issued by accredited certification bodies, documentation to be endorsed by the OAE. |
|||
In the case of test reports, they must be issued by accredited laboratories, documentation to be endorsed by the OAE. These certificates and reports, will be a requirement that bidders submit to the procurement process. |
