1. Instruction
Reactive power regulator is suitable for self-adjusting capacitor compensating in low voltage distribution system and make power factor meet with presetting by user, therefore it will increase the efficiency of the power transformer, reduce line loss, and improve voltage quality. On the final it will increacse the econmic and social benefits.

4. Characteristic of working mode
   Full auto working mode: Thiscontroller has already adjusted the work mode under the full-automatic mode before the factory, all parameters already been preset according to the most rational way, it will work normally so long as the user connect correctly.
   Manual set mode: It can be accurate control input and cutoff and no input and cutoff shaking of capacitor group, which is suitable for the occasions of all working environment especially light load with broad-minded capacitance of capacitor.
5. Advie for use
  The characteristics of full automatic working mode: This controller has been in the automatic mode befor leaving factory, All parameters have been preset according to the most reasonable method. It workes normally as long as users connect the wire correctly.
  The characteristics of handwork setting mode: when the load is light at servel fields, and the capacity is big, thecontroller goes on input and cut vibration continuously, under this condition, the handwork mode is suitalbe for using.
6. Menu operation
  Operation the Menu key in turn, the controller will enter into the menu of power factor, reactive power, Manual operation and parameter preset circularly. Note: only after entering into manual operation menu in 2 seconds, could the operation Key Menu be entered into parameter adjustment menu. Other menu haven't this limit.
The reactive power menu wil display the symbol AUTO under the full automatic mode.
The parameter preset menu has submenu 16 items under handwork mode. Operation the Menu Key in turn, enter into each of submenu separately. When operating the key of incresing and decreasing by degrees, the target data of each submenu can be preset, and the four-posiotion digitorn displays menu code and target data alternately. For example: PR-1 means menu code, 098 means target data. The parameter preset menu has submenu 4 items under full automatic mode, that is Power Factor Preset, Delay preset menu, over voltage Preset, loop preset (Preset menu of transformation ratio of public current mutual inductor).

8. Debugging
Warning:During the proccess of adjustment,user should abide by the following adjus tment step.The one withis the controller is under handwork mode.
A:Assemble the compensating device according to the demand of connection diagram,and then make a detailed examination so as to remove the mistake that may coures setious potential safety hazard.
B:Switching in compensating device,the controller enters into automatic state.
  Note:If the compensating device is running under non-actual condition,before starting the machine,user should make sure that the current signal lagging voltage signal.
  • c.input the transformation ratio at site signal current mutual inductor,for the detail shown as Menu operation.
e.Operate Key Menu'to make the handwork operation indicator light,handwork operation acting as a measure of compensating device adjustment can be used for checking if the connection is correct or not.Operate Key increasing by grade',input caacitor group,operate Key decreasing by grade cut caacitor group.Note:The output terminal which the correspondent capacitor value is zero can't be conduct inputand cut action.Without indicator is permitted for the operation mentioned above,but the power factor displayed and reactive power value is meaningless.
F.In order to make the controller automatically input and cut capacitor group,besides user should put menu underside menu of Power Factor,Reactive Factor,the current signal lagging voltage signal and system voltage is not higher than overvoltage protective value and is not lower than undervoltage protective value which condition also is important.

  • CT ratio reset value is the numerator value of signal current transformer ratio.For example: user's signal current transformer ratio is 500/5A,then,CT ratio preset value is 500,other than
  • The capacitance should be preset as"0"if it is not connected with output loop of capacitor. The output loop controller will not output controlling signalif the preset capacitance of capacitor is"0"
  • Signal homonymy end Auto identification means voltage and current signals are not at the homonymy end state owing to connecting reason;the process of controller adjusting.it at homonymy end state through judgment program in the way of software,two signal lines that is unnecessary to exchange current signal by manual.
  • If the signal homony my end auto identification parameter is"NO"adjusted by user,which means allow homonymy end to auto identify;and if OFF,which means forbidden to scope of controller.The power factor scope will lag 0.30 of selecting"ON";the power factor scope will lag 0.001 to lead 0.001.ifuser's on -site power factor has the possibility of lower 0.3,the manufacturer strongly require user to adjust this parameter as"OFF".If occurring non-homonymy end state,it is ok to exchange the two signal lines of power signal at manual

13. Fault and Remove
   During using and installing the controller, for some easy overlook connection mistakes will result in compensating abnormally operating. The regular fault phenomena and its removel methods ad following:
  1. Input control head panel, indicating lamp lights, but AC contactor can't close. This phenom enon caused because the inside coil of AC controller have not been obtained power supply or not enough power. User should check whether the type of AC controller is the same as the drawing, fuse is perfect, power supply common on the terminal of AC controller and output common termianl of controller are connection on the same wiring, and connection is open circuit or not.
  2. With the charging abnormality and no changing of input power factor of capacitor, the former caused be cause of the uncorrected sampling of voltage or current signal. User should pay more attention to checking signal sampling. The latter caused because of the uncorrected position of use's signal mutual inductor inserted. The current mutual inductor should be in serted in the output position where shows total load current change(e.g Total cabinet bus line)
  3. The gauge outfit of controller always displays C-0, this phenomenon caused of the big or small signal current or no current mutual inductor is rational or not, current signal loop has open circuit or connected with other instruments in series and parallel or not.
  4. Oper group or two groups capaciteor never has input (input indicating lamp can's light) This phenomenon only will take place when in handwork operating working, but the common reasion is that the user not preset capacity or preset too big data when men ds parametes. In this case, as long as preset capacity of capacitor again.
  5. The reactive power value of controller has a wide gas with onsite valu This phenonmenon caused generally because of unconnected transformation ratio of current mutual inductor preset. User should check whether the transformation ratio of the signal current mutual is in correspondence with preset value or not.
  6. The power factor value of controller has a wide gas with onsite value. There are two possiblites for these phenomena: one is the unconnected sampling of voltage or current signals; the other is current signal exceed 5.5A (selecting the transformation ratio of current mutual inductor is unreasonbale)
